Bria Phair, affectionately known as Bre, is a cosmetic chemist with more than seven years of experience developing innovative beauty and personal care products. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Towson University and a Master of Science in Cosmetic Science
from the University of Cincinnati.

As a Senior Chemist at House of Cheatham, Bria specializes in transforming innovative ideas into market-ready formulations, guiding products from concept through commercialization. Throughout her career, she has led the development of several successful product launches,
including the newest Aunt Jackie’s four-product Curl La La collection and the Biotin & Honey Braid Collection, featuring the innovative Dry Clean Scalp Cleanser. Her work combines technical expertise with consumer-driven innovation to create high-performing products that
resonate in the marketplace.

In addition to her work in product development, Bria is the co-founder of Black Women in Cosmetic Chemistry (BWICC), Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing representation, fostering community, and expanding educational opportunities within the
cosmetic science industry.

Passionate about formulation science and education, Bria enjoys sharing her knowledge with aspiring and experienced formulators alike. She is committed to making cosmetic formulation approachable, practical, and rooted in sound scientific principles while inspiring the next generation of innovators in the beauty industry.
