Known as The Beauty Chemist®, Cassandra Celestin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science. With over 20 years of combined experience in cosmetic chemistry, product development, platform artistry, and higher education, she has
worked behind the scenes developing innovative products for leading global beauty brands and on stage educating beauty professionals around the world.

Cassandra is a college professor of Cosmetic Science, where she prepares the next generation of cosmetic scientists through hands-on, industry-focused education. She has researched and developed hair care, hair color, skin care, OTC, and color cosmetic products, with many of her
formulations appearing on beauty store shelves worldwide. Beyond the laboratory, Cassandra is an accomplished formulator, hair colorist, stylist, trichologist, and makeup artist whose work spans print, theater, television, and film, including collaborations with celebrities, major productions, and national media. She is also the co-founder of Black Women in Cosmetic Chemistry (BWICC), an organization dedicated to fostering community through networking, professional development, and education.
